Actually, you might NOT see your own message.

Standard policy for email lists used to be - and for many still is -
that the sender of the email does NOT receive a copy of his own
message.

Do see your own postings, you have to go to www.qth.net and go to
FISTS list and check the appropriate buttons to "send me a copy of my
own posts".

There is also a button for "send successful posting acknowledgement"
message - this is what I get as I've asked for that.  I don't get a
copy of my own postings, but I've asked for a acknowledgement of
successful posting from the Majordomo listserver program!

It all goes back to when bandwidth was very precious - not it doesn't
matter much as we aren't on 300 baud modems!
