[Fists] HW 9 and electronic keyer

I thought the newer CMOS 4 could key a tube rig. Also by changing an
internal jumper, allowance for neg or pos keying voltage was compensated
for. I thought that was what the guy at the last Hamvention told me. You
might want to contact Idiom Press or check them on the web for positive
info. There are still a lot of the old Heath and Hallicrafter keyers
floating around. These use a vaccuum relay. I use one with my Viking
Valiant, and it works FB. Never a problem, except it is not a "memory"
keyer, so you have wait until the dit or dot switches over or it will leave
it out. Just slightly different from modern keyers and rigs, but easy to get
used to....Good Luck...Al/W8FAX/2192
