Venting is one thing, rewriting history is another. Jozef is rewriting
history. It doesn't take a PH.D. to evaluate the facts or accurately
remember history. It appears from his example, that having one gives one
license to overlook the facts, distort them or even make some up if you can
reference someone else. Look at Jozef's web site.
The FCC considered 18 rulemaking petitions and 3800 comments, then ruled to
eliminate the CW test. Jozef Hand-Boniakowski didn't file any comments. Too
late for him now. The ARRL did more then he did.
As Dan said, the morse code test elimination is a done deal, get over it.
We don't need a bunch of mad CW guys holding a grudge. We need some Elmers
to continue promoting and teaching CW skills.
