Hello FISTS...
The Winter Sprint ends at 2100 UTC on Saturday... take a break and then
listen for:

The Radio Club of Tacoma's Antique Radio Museum's station, W7OS, will
be DOing -Straight Key Night- OVER on Saturday, Feb. 10, starting at
4:00 PM-Pacific Time. That is the same as Sunday, Feb 11 at 0000 UTC.
Also see: http://www.arrl.org/contests/spev.html scroll down to Feb.
11.

At the Jan.1 ARRL designated SKN... the museum's station, W7OS, was
plagued
with technical difficulties... so we are going to give it a whirl on the
above date.

So, listen for the XTAL controlled Pre WWII breadboard built transmitter
on 7.051MHz
(or so)and give us a call. It is easy to recognize by the distinctive
chirp. We'll be listening for you with our restored Hammarlund HQ-120X
(pre WWII). Other rigs may be used, also: Heathkit DX-31, Globe
Scout-65, Hammarlund HQ-129x, Drake 2-B.
Please be patient, however. All of these old rigs use antenna relays
between the XMTR and RCVR, which requires operating a couple of
switches... so there is NO QSK. The station may be operating on/near
7.037 if 7.051 is congested.

If you are a FIST...W7OS's FISTS NR is 12825 (3 points).
If you are a Straight Key Century Club Member... SKCC NR is: 2714.
Each QSO will receive a QSL card.

The Old Oak Rig (as it is called at the museum) can be viewed at the
Radio Club's museum page: http://w7dk.org/museum.htm
The entire website is here: www.w7dk.org

Best Regards,
Rich KR7W
