TDARC - DX Expedition to Antarctica & Southern Ocean

 

February -- March 2006

 

Skeds by Jan G0BBL and Chris G0HFX

 

Jan G0BBL and Chris G0HFX will travel in Terra del Fuego IOTA SA008 and

Patagonia from February 3rd to February 13th using callsigns LU/ G0BBL

or LU/G0HFX.  We are planning to be active on 15/20/30/40 meter

depending on band conditions.

 

The Radio Club of Ushuaia LU8XW has invited us to use their club station

and let us work from iota SA008 during our visit. The probable date is

8th February when it is their Monthly Club night!!

 

This is probably going to be the best chance to work to us as LU8XW have

a contest grade Club station,     link: http://www.geocities.com/rcushu/

 

>From February the 13 to  March 6th 2006:

 

We will be on the Tall Ship "BARK EUROPA" operating on the High Seas

using callsign  PA5D/mm  and callsign VP8DJK in the British Antarctic

territories.

 

Landings in the several "islands of the south "IOTA of South Shetland

Islands" is  AN010
