I am simply amazed at the responses I have received. 

I have a friend who has his Extra license and he couldn't understand why I
joined this club before I was ready to get on the air.  This is why!!!

I believe you are right.  I have decided to jump right into the pool when my
straight key arrives and then, once I feel comfortable, try the paddles
again.

Ron, thank you so much for your offer.  I will be in touch once the box with
the word "Kent" shows up...should be about a week from now.

This organization is the epitome the amateur radio fraternity.

Hi John, Just my opinion but ditch the code software and just get on the
air? I would be happy to work slow CW with you. I can do any band and am
available most every evening. Let me know when and where, I can go pretty
slow but would probably do 13 - 15 wpm character rate and space them out to
make the effective speed slow enough.
