[Fists] Keynote comments & CW/QRS

Doubling the spacing will reduce the speed by half, just make sure it is
consistant - that the word spacing gets doubled also.

One thing that I learned in many years of handling traffic via morse is that
"fast letters" should be spaced a bit more:

Words like:

MISSISSIPPI are difficult to copy because they are so "DITTY" - full of
dits.

In American Morse it is even worse - because the word Mississippi is ALL
dots - the letter P in American Morse is five dots. Likewise the word
Missouri is all but one dash comprised of dots (U which contains the lone
dash is the same in both codes, while O and R in American are all dots).

and would like to add something. Sometimes when a person asks another to
QRS, it might be hard for someone to do that. My keyer in my QRP rig for
example requires me to enter a menu and then set the speed. Meanwhile the
other station wonders if I went QRT.'

What about just putting more space between the characters? That should not
require an adjustment to the keyer and should be adequate for most slower
ops. I know that helps me.
