I have been using Writelog with great success. It can be a little confusing at times, but if you actually read the manual it all works aout as advertised. There is a good support reflector also, where you can ask questions, etc. There are many independent web sites that also have extensive info. I can set up each and every contest as it's own stand alone, use different call signs, such as KNØWCW, K8FST, or W8FAX with no problem. The logs can be kept completely organized. In addition, the software provides computer control of rigs, canned or real time CW keying from keyboard or "F" keys, RTTY control, and PSK control. It can also be linked to MMTTY which is a popular RTTY program. You can even pre-record phone messages for contests if you like. I can send logs directly to LOTW (requires internet) if I want, or eQSL if that is your bag. It also has a rotor control but I do not use this. There are several "plug-in" type modules available, and I use the one for FISTS Sprints, both during the event, and as a general FISTS log. This is just my opinion, and I certainly am not affiliated with Writelog in any way, just a happy user of the product.........Al/W8FAX 2192
