Hi Ralph,
The big difference between BPL and other modes of broadband, is that BPL
uses RF to transmit high speed data down the unshielded power lines.
Unshielded Power Lines make an awfully good antenna. Also, It's not a small
spectrum of RF. It will encompass our entire HF spectrum, from just above
the AM broadcast band up above HF into the low VHF range. FEMA and NAB have
already file complaints based on this likely interference. for an example of

It's a very real threat, and I don't think that any of us would want this
type of interference in our areas.
