[Fists] Fw: The Latest Email Viruses - Important Information! - MORE

Well, I just ran Panda and it missed one. Norton found it. And it is now =
gone. Worse, Panda's price for one machine is $20 for 6 months, or $40 a =
year. I have Norton for $35 for a full year and it is installed on two =
computers. I check daily with Norton. If a problem exists, it finds it. =
If left to update itself, it does so once a week. I opt to check it =
daily, and often get 3 new patterns a week during busy times. AVG free =
version is inferior. Am not in a contest here, just pointing out some =
interesting observations from personal experience. Oh, Panda is slower =
than death compared with Norton 2004. Why I do not know. (I am not =
counting the initial download, I am counting the actual scan. Some files =
it did NOT scan and I have no idea why - I selected everything on Drive =
C:. It scanned about 92,000 files. Norton found 134,000 files on Drive =
C:.=20

AVG is very good also and has a free version. Built in updating, too. =

Norton antivirus is not the best antivirus by far, check out panda
antivirus, pandasoftware.com. I have no affiliation with panda I just =
no it
catches viruses, worms and Trojan horse viruses that neither Norton's =
or
  McAffee will catch.

  Guys,

The following link will take you to an information page at Symantec =
with all
the details you need about this new mass mailing worm/trojan. Even if =
your
Norton antivirus was up to date as of yesterday, it may not detect =
this
virus properly without the beta definition update now available. That =
was
what I had to install to detect this bug, the regular Live Update for =
Norton
  Antivirus did NOT.
