I've been reading some material on other lists.

First comment, the FISTS input to FCC is excellent! Thanks Nancy.

Second, who has relegated CW to sub-bands??  On all other lists I keep 
reading about the CW sub-bands.  THEY DON'T EXIST!!

All other modes, SSB, RTTY, PACTOR, PSK31, etc. are sub-bands but CW is 
full band.

47 CFR 97.305(a). "An amateur station may transmit a CW emission on ANY 
frequency authorized to the control operator." [Emphasis added].

So, FISTS members, get active on the various lists you read and defend 
the primary mode, CW, with full access to all frequencies. Do not let 
the use of prejudicial 'sub-band' language go unchallenged.
