[Fists] Crank Up the Garbage Disposal

Man, I can't BELIEVE some of the reasoning I've read in these petitions....
Shades of the "I can't pass a code test because I have a Bad Back and it
hurts to sit...By the way, did I show you what I won on Ebay last week?"
argument.

Our VE group at W9YB is affiliated with W5YI. I've never been happy about
this, because of Fred's involvement with Blo-Code International and his
"behind the scenes" work.

But our first VE contact person said "Tough. I *LIKE* W5YI, and W5YI it's
gonna be.". He's gone now, changed majors and schools.

We have a club meeting coming up soon and I intend to put forth a motion
that we change from W5YI to ARRL VEC.

In the 2 years we've been giving monthly tetss, i think I've given maybe 6
code tests.
