[Fists] question for you experienced folks

Hi folks - 

I've only been doing cw for about 18 months. So tonight (Sunday evening)
when I tuned in around 14.058 - there were so many signals flying around
I could not tell what was going on - was there a contest or RTTY
invasion or something this weekend? Or was it just a pile up which us
newbies have trouble sorting out? Thanks for any responses you might
have :-)
