Not exactly the time of night, and certainly not the location, at/from which
to make comparisons, Tomas. Here, the Canadian QRM is still bad, and the
tropical stations are having a ball - all very loud here. And here the
static is minimal compared with where Stan and some of the others in this
debate live. Timing is Everything. So is location.

I just had a fine QSO on 7.120 - no SSB to contend with.  Some
Broadcast nearby, but our QSO was solid - all at 100 watts and
dipoles.  Talked about battery power and QRP / portable camping
operation.

No need to crowd the band.
