[Fists] "The Oldtimers Corner"

Hi All: Well, all I can say is "WOW!!!" The enthusiasm for the idea of
having an "Oldtimers Corner" is great. I am really excited about this.
I will say that Mark W1EOF, has offered to create a website which will
archive these stories and I am very excited about that, but since we
as FISTS are a CW Club, I strongly believe that we need to have this
in the Keynote also. Ralph, ZL2AOH said he will put their OT info
in the News From Downunder in the Keynote. I for one, believe very
sincerely that we are missing a rich source of information if we don't
do this. I am sure that every FISTS knows one old timer who would be
thrilled to share their tales of the beginnings of CW. Please help by
offering your suggestions for an outline or format for gathering the
info. If you sat with one of these treasures, how would you interview
him or her? I am just a dumb engineer and not a journalist so HELP!!!
Boy, what a wonderful group. I am proud to be a part of it.
