I really don't care for Sea Foam. It is only Alcohol with a little
light oil added to it. Combined with a bit of moisture it can aid
the creation of acids in the fuel that can attack seals in the fuel
system. Modern gasolines have decent detergency packages and many
already have Alcohol in them already (Pity!). If you really wish
to try a fuel system cleaner that works try the Chevron product
Techcron. This product is approved by almost all automobile
manufacturers.

Stabil is a fuel stabilizer that helps prevent fuel from breaking
down during long storage periods. It does work well, especially for
a generator that you wish to keep ready at all times. If possible
it is better to put a valve in the fuel line and drain the carb
float bowl during non use. More work but better for extended periods
of off time. The one thing that Stabil can't do is prevent the
more volatile components of the gasoline from evaporating during
storage. Fuel over a year old should be mixed with new fresh fuel
to insure good performance.
