11/17/25: The meeting was called to order at the Wauseon Municipal Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567 at 7:08 pm by President Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG). 24 members and guests were in attendance and the Pledge of Allegiance was given.

HF QSO made just prior to today’s meeting at 1800 on 40m by KB8ELG to TMRA in Maumee OH.

Treasurer's Report: reported by Jan Tropf.  Motion to approve finance report by KB8TYN/KC8PCU:  Approved. 

Update about Repeater Shed work 11/1/25 by KE8BHW

Field Deployment Practice. Second Saturday of every month. During months of inclement weather, plan to operate simplex from home. More details to come.

AA8YY discussed automated AR Newsline announcements on the repeater. 

Wauseon Christmas Parade 11/22/25. Please arrive at the Chamber of Commerce Office between 5:00PM-5:30PM, parade will begin at 7:00PM. KE8ITJ will provide the float.

Winter Hamfest 12/6/25 9:00am-1:00pm. The Delta American Legion Post No. 373. Tables all sold. Some have pre-paid. Three people in reserve. Courtesy tables for neighboring clubs. Inside breakfast. Food trucks outside. Post heaters for outside. Club swag lanyards arrived. Set-up Friday night. KE8ITJ ordering t-shirts to sell.

***No monthly meeting in December*** 

FCARC Christmas Party: 12/27/25 6:00PM at Rotary Park Wauseon. Catered with commercial clean up. Previously reserved caterer is no longer available. Three caterers available for ~$25 per person– voted by attendees by menu offerings and price. Jan Tropf arranging Santa Claus. 50/50 raffle. Games.

VP report: N5XDM not in attendance.

2026 Officers Nominations/Election:

President: KB8ELG– nominated by KC8PCU and KE8ITJ. No other nominations

Vice President: KC8PCU nominated by KE8UJA. KE8UJA nominated– decline. N5XDM nominated by KE8OKA. Vote between KC8PCU and N5XDM. N5XDM won

Secretary: KD8PFH nominated and decline. KC8HDG nominated by KB8ELG. No other nominations.

Treasurer: Jan Tropf. No other nominations. 

Motion made by Jan Tropf that the Secretary cast one unanimous ballot for any unopposed candidate. Seconded by KE8BHW. Completed by KE8OKA.

2026 Officers will be: President KB8ELG, Vice President N5XDM, Secretary KC8HDG and Treasurer Jan Tropf. 

2026 Winter Field Day. January 24-25 2026. York Township Shelter House. Black Swamp Port a Potty.

Celebrating new Hams Chris and Dinah (still awaiting call signs). Congratulations! Introductions made by all in attendance.

VE Testing: The club gives testing at 10:00 am the last Saturday of each month at the Wauseon Administration Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567. Contact John Myers KD8ZKE if interested. His contact information can be found on the k8bxq.org website under the VE Testing section.

Saturday morning breakfast at the Delta 109 at 9:00 AM, in downtown Delta, OH.

The next regular club meeting will be 1/19/26 7:00PM at the Wauseon Municipal Building Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567.

A motion to adjourn was made by KE8BHW and seconded by KE8ITJ and all were in favor.  KB8ELG closed the meeting at 8:35pm
