1/15/24:The meeting was called to order at the Wauseon AdministrationBuilding Firemen's Training Room, 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH43567 at 7:30 pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG). 21 members were inattendance, introductions were made and the Pledge of Allegiance wasgiven by all. Gratitude expressed to Jan Tropf for the use of thisfacility.

Treasurer'sReport: reported by KC8ELG as W8TUX not in attendance. ReimbursingKB8QJF $79 for FCARC QSL cards.

2024Elections for Officers commenced. Ballots were managed and tallied byKC8PCU and KE8BHW. Results are as follows:

SolarEclipse will occur 4/8/24. Large amounts of people are anticipated tobe migrating to Fulton County to observe the eclipse. Schools will beclosed. Fulton County/ State EMA are requesting one amateur radiooperator be in attendance at each Fulton County police station. Eachoperator is requested to have a 2m radio; one operator is requestedto have a HF radio to communicate traffic to Columbus via ARRLTraffic forms. Mock exercise is suggested. Will continue to discuss.

ARRLWinter Field Day 1/27-28/2024. KC8ELG would like to activate at theDelta Reservoir. 

TheFulton County EMA is requesting a list of all amateurs with 4x4vehicles who would be available and willing to make runs for theCounty during any snow emergencies.

AA8YYis coordinating AR Newsline to air on K8BXQ repeater on Wednesdaysand Sundays 7:00-7:30PM. More details to come. 

KB8ELGis exploring various means of bringing wireless internet to theprimary repeater shed. 

VEupdate: Saturday December 30, 2023, three people tested. KD8TGB andKE8YWN attained Amateur Extra Class. Nathan Ross attained GeneralClass and new callsign KE8ZVN. One person is scheduled to testJanuary 27, 2024.
