The transmitters and antennas are stowed away, and Field Day 2022 is in the
books. While the solar cycle continues to ramp up, the bands were as
unpredictable as ever. Some highlights were the number of guests who
stopped out to experience and try their hand at various HF communication
techniques, as well as the return to our potluck dinner now that we are
emerging from what felt like a never-ending pandemic. Thanks to everyone
who set up and operated and made our club's Field Day operation a welcoming
event to all.

A word on statistics, we conducted 200 Digital QSOs, and 140 Phone QSOs,
for a total of 340 QSOs for a combined QSO score of 540 with appropriate
multipliers.

Our power multiplier and all appropriate bonus points (thanks to Walter
Harper, KE8QNF, the Mayor of Belmore, OH, for stopping out) set us up with
a claimed total score of 2,130 points.

We contacted 37 states and 2 Candian Provinces with at least 2 stations
sprinting to the 2:00 pm cutoff time to rack up as many QSOs as possible.
