[FCARC] January Meeting Notes

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG) with
20 members and guests in attendance on the 147.195+ k8bxq repeater.

Members in Distress: KA8KDS has to undergo a procedure to fix a pacemaker
tomorrow and wanted to let the club members know.

Treasurers Report: no report over the air

Bills to Present: nothing to present

Hamfest Committee: The next FCARC sponsored Hamfest will be the summer
trunk swap on June 5, 2021, followed by the Winter Hamfest on December 4,
2021. Both events have been registered with the ARRL.

Old Business:
- The club participated in a county EMA COVID-19 testing event by helping
with traffic direction and parking.  The EMA thanked us for spending a
chilly Saturday morning and afternoon and commented how smooth the ingress
and egress traffic flowed for the event.

New Business:
- On the 21st , 22nd , and 23rd of January, the County EMA is requesting
traffic direction again at the County Fairgrounds for a by-appointment
vaccination clinic. This is going to be difficult due to it being in the
middle of the week and such short notice, but any help would be
appreciated.  Time requested are from 10am to 3pm all three days. Contact
KB8ELG for details.

Correspondence/Comments:
- KD8ZKE: commented on participation with the county covid testing at the
fairgrounds last weekend.

VE Testing: The club gives testing at 9am the last Saturday of each month
at the Fulton 248 Masonic Lodge in Delta, OH...contact Tom Servoss (KC8UOM)
if interested, you can find his phone number on the www.k8bxq.org website
under the VE Testing section.

Saturday morning breakfast at the Delta 109 at 9:00 AM, in downtown Delta,
OH.

The next regular club meeting will be Monday, February 15, 2021 at 7:30pm
with location to be determined based on COVID conditions in Ohio.

The Net was closed at 8:30pm.
