[FCARC] Repeater notes to pass along

Hello area HAMs,

The repeater committee performed maintenance and the primary and backup sites 
today.  Here is a list of items and notes to pass along:

1. The primary system is offline while K8LI runs through the duplexers.  This 
will probably be for a better part of the week.  If he finds a major issue, we 
will send them out for factory service and will be on the backup system for a 
longer duration.  For now, be aware the backup repeater is online so coverage 
patterns will be different for the next week or so.

2. The backups system radio cooling fans are fine. It was reported that a 
bearing noise was coming from that chassis, but was actually a rack cooling fan 
that did not need to be running.

3. The Yaesu Fusion DR-1 is online on 442.075 PL 103.5.  Keep in mind when 
trying this out, this is basic controller, so there is no tail time and no 
courtesy tone.  The repeater ID is CW as well.  We have the system in low power 
mode as it was discovered  KB8GOMs duplexers are missing a couple of jam nuts, 
making the tuning susceptible to temperature changes and vibrations.  KB8ELG 
believes has has some replacement components to remedy this.
