[FCARC] Delta Chicken Fest This Weekend! It's on....

The Fulton County Amateur Radio Club will be setting up at the Delta Chicken 
Fest this weekend.  We have confirmation that our participation would be 
appreciated.  So the deal is (so far to my knowledge):

We will be setting up in large 10x20 tent, similar to last year.
We will be scoping out the accommodations on Thursday to determine antenna setup.

Friday:
- 6:00pm - 9:00pm the booth will be on the air.  We will be in the same tent 
along with Police and E.M.S.
- 10:30pm Fireworks!  Delta F.O.E. always puts together a great fireworks 
display, stick around!

Saturday:
- 12:00pm - 9:00pm the booth will be back on the air.

Sunday:
- 12:00pm - 2:00pm the booth will be on the air.
- 1:00pm - report to booth for Parade route assignments
- 2:00pm - 3:00pm Grand Parade traffic control (operating 146.460 FM simplex)

The Chamber of Commerce normally runs the announcements during the festival, buy 
have asked the radio club to fill in time slots they do not have covered.  We 
should be seeing that list shortly.

Plan on stopping out to say hi, but more importantly, please plan on Sunday for 
the Parade.  We could use a large turnout again this year, nd the festival 
organizers as well as the Delta Police, appreciate the assistance.
