Hello everyone, here are some notes from the Monday night Club meeting:

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm with 14 members in attendance. Minutes
from the previous meeting and the treasurer's report were read and accepted.

Committee reports follow...

Education: The VE Team reports the March 29th testing session served two
candidates and issued one new tech license. Tom recently reported that we have
one confirmed for this Saturday's test session in Delta.

Repeater Committee: We have a brief delay in getting the primary repeater
checked out. K8LI is waiting on some corrections and repairs to his service
monitor. We are still targeting April to perform the service work, but have no
current ETA. KB8ELG reports that repair on the power amplifier are going well,
although additional replacement surface mount components needed to be ordered.

Memorial Committee: No report.

Members in Distress: KC2RCU has returned home and is reported to be recovering
nicely.

EC Report: K8JPD has been working with Terry Habegger on getting the club
aligned with the District 2 Emergency Coordinator. There are a lot of
requirements to join into the EC community which will not happen overnight. For
the time being we are going to work on internal organization, which will involve
a survey to those members who would be interested in participating in EC
efforts. More will be available on this soon.

Membership: We have 42 members up to date on dues so far. Thank you for your
continued support.

T-Shirt Committee: No report.

Hamfest Committee: The Hamfest is June 7th at the usual location in Tedrow.
WD8KRS will be working on delivery of the "facilities", and donuts and coffee
will be acquired by Norm and Cindi. There was some discussion on better
placement of trunk sales vs parking areas, and we may perform a site survey the
week before to layout a better solution that does not cause congestion. We also
had a brief discussion to drum up ideas for any activities that might create an
additional draw for the event. We already have VE testing available, but we are
trying to come up with other ideas, possibly a HF station running special
events. If you have thoughts, float them our way!

Good of Amateur Radio:

1. There will be a Fox Hunt on May 10th, we have stated a time of 2:00pm and
would most likely have a staring point of the parking lot of the county admin
building We plan on hunting on 146.460, and the search would remain limited to
within the county.

2. Several club members attended the Storm Spotter training on March 27th, and
had nothing but positive things to say about the training. We thank them for
going out and representing the club.

3. There has been some interest in a revisit of the digital workshop we held
last spring. This would most likely happen after Dayton and be restructured to
be a single Saturday. Further updates as events warrant.

4. A few years ago we printed up a bunch of "QSL" style cards as invitation to
our summer events to all the HAMs in the county area that may not have ever been
involved with the club, or maybe have not been around in sometime. We voted to
investigate getting more of these created to send out again this year since we
had much success with them in 2012.

5. Last, Field Day is looming in the distance. It is June 28th-29th this year,
and we are asking club members who want to operate to sound off and let us know
if you plan on running the full length of the event, or even just part of it.

Upcoming Hamfests:

05/16/2014 Dayton, OH (5/16 to 5/18)
06/07/2014 Tedrow, OH (FCARC)
06/08/2014 Chelsea, MI
06/15/2014 Monroe, MI
07/20/2014 Van Wert, OH

Next Meeting: The next regular club meeting will be May 19 at the County
Administration Building second floor (same as the Drivers License Bureau), 152
S. Fulton St, Wauseon. The club meeting will be at 7:30pm.
