The rigs and antennas are packed away for another year and the tents and
equipment dried from a severe thunderstorm Saturday evening, and so ends Field
Day 2012 . The weather caused us some disruption (we lost our digital team for
most of Saturday from storm damage) we had a good run as a 6A. Thanks to
everyone who helped with setup and tear down, and everyone who stopped out to
talk and observe. Here are some highlights from the logging we captured I'd
like to share:

We ran a 6A class this year

Total CW QSOs: 32
Total Digital QSOs: 58
Total Phone QSOs: 397
Total: 487

With bonuses and power multipliers, we have a preliminary score of 2104, which
was a major drop from last year, mostly due to not having dedicated CW
operations and digital for only about half of the event.

A breakdown by operators includes:

     33 KC8ZBC
     45 KB2AVN
     68 KD8JBS
      9 KC8UOM
     73 K8LI
     32 W8AN
     74 KB8ELG
     25 KD8KBU
     16 KD8NAU
     51 KG8XG
     59 AB8RC
      2 KC8PCU

We worked 46 states, 4 Canadian provinces, and 3 DX entities. We also logged
QSOs on 7 of the 12 available bands.

Let me know your thoughts on this Field Day and how you think we could improve
for Field Day 2014 (kd8kbu at arrl.net <mailto:kd8kbu at arrl.net>).

Last, if you have photos you would like to share, please pass them along to me
and I'll get them on the club website.
