[FCARC] Field Day Roll Call

Hi folks,

Field Day 2011 is not that far off, and we are are trying to get a feel
for who might be coming out to visit/operate/setup.  Please reply back
to me if you are thinking of stopping out during the weekend, if you
want to operate at all, or if you want to setup a rig a run.    We would
also welcome anyone who wants to assist with logging.  We run a
computerized logging system, and I will have a demo station setup to
show how the software works.  The logging software helps us eliminate
duplicates and lets us know when someone else is working a particular
band/mode.

As an example, I am setting up my I-Com 706 (160m - 2m) with a 160m
dipole ladder fed with a tuner.  I am intending on running mostly
digital mode operation, and will make my station available if anyone
wants to try their hand at running PSK31. 

I know we will be setting up the club rig (A kenwood TS-???, 160m-10m)
with an 80m dipole ladder fed.  That one will be setup for phone
operation and I am pretty sure it will also be a GOTA station, but that
is still open for debate.

I'll try to put out routine updates on where we stand and what our rig
count will be.  We ran a 6A last year, and I suspect we will be around
the same again this year.
