Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply back, it was greatly appreciated.
Here is the station/operator roster so far:

1. AB8RC (Dave) and KB8ELG (Bryan): operating HF/VHF Phone (long wire and
several VHF beam antennas)
2. W8AN (Steve): operating HF CW (long wire)
3. K8LI (Lindsay) and KB2AVN (Angela): operating HF 40m Phone (40m dipole)
4. KD8JBS (Ben): operating HF Phone (wire dipole)
5. KG8XG (John): operating HF Phone (HF vertical)
6. KC8UOM (Tom) and KB8GOM (Brian): operating HF 10m Phone (10m directional, VHF
beam)
7. KD8KBU (Craig) and KC8ZBC (Brian): operating HF/VHF Digital (ladder fed wire,
a G5RV, and a VHF beam)

Still have not heard from KC8BJH (Donovan), so if any knows if he'll be out,
that would be great to pass that info along. With a lot of operators running
Phone, the band selection might be a little tight (might be a good opportunity
to try out digital or dust of the key or maybe VHF/UHF!). We might want to
consider shifts on some of the bands, I'll leave this open to discussion at the
club meeting.

That puts us into a 7A category, so that should be fun, we've run 6A the past
couple of years. We have also discussed setting up a club rig for anyone that
want's to drop in and call CQ. I think this would make a great GOTA station,
and would allow us to have an additional rig without putting us in a higher
category.

We also get a free VHF rig, so if anyone has a rig/antenna they want to setup
solely for that purpose, it might be fun for a lot of people to experience
contesting on VHF.

With regards to the extra points that are up for grabs, I sent of a press
release to the four Fulton County newspapers, so that qualifies us for points
(it would be nice if they get published, but it's not a requirement). I also
sent invitations to several elected officials in Fulton County and our County
EC. If anyone has any suggestions for the educational section of the event,
please pass them along here or at the club meeting next Monday. I was thinking
a few topics might include:

- proper operation of an antenna analyzer (I can bring along my MFJ)
- proper operation of a manual antenna tuner

thoughts?
