Dick,
The contract with the MCAC was for the space we used, and unfortunately
has no bearing on the spaces we did not use (i.e. no mention in our
contract what the rodeo would/would not use).
The parking fee is there to stay, we may not be, anyone/everyone, we
are looking for suggestions for an event site. Preferrably in MD to
maintain the MDC Section Convention, but not opposed to VA if a
suitable sight in MD/DC is not found/available.
Requirements include the following:
Indoor space of approximately 7500' sq
Outdoor space for 200-300 tailgate spaces and associated lanes (roughly
1.5 - 2 acres)
Space for General admission parking (400 - 500 vehicles at a time or
more)
NO PARKING FEE
meeting space/rooms optional
food/vending optional
Thanks,
Dan Blasberg
