Folks,

I finally arranged some overnight lodging rooms.  Jenine at Hampton Inn has 
been sick so wasn't able get back with folks as quickly.  I was wondering 
there for a bit if they were already booked. Anyways....

At this time, I've reserved a room block of 20 rooms.  All are double beds - 
non smoking.  I'm thinking most folks may want to make the drive so didn't 
include more rooms than this.  This number can be raised as long as there is 
space.  Let me know.  All unconfirmed rooms will be dropped back into the 
pool and sold at the higher rate on July 14th.  I also have the room block 
for both July 28th and 29th.

Currently any folks requesting rereservations need to call 301-739-6100 and 
secure their room with a credit card under the "Maryland State Radio 
Convention" block.  We have a block rate of $84.00 a night that also 
includes a very nice complimentary breakfast.  Also, please confirm and/or 
change if only want one night or both and they may also be able to move you 
to smoking if desired and available.

Bob Long ( rjlong61 at myactv.net) wants to be notified when arrangements have 
been finalized for any emergency vehicles to definitely be at the 
convention.

He wants to notify Verna Brown at Washington County Emergency Services so 
she can notify Washington County First Responders about it.

Please also let Karin and Myself know too.
