DRAFT MINUTES
Meeting of The Foundation for Amateur Radio, Inc.
November 9, 2005

The meeting was held at the Lee Center in Alexandria, Virginia.  Mary
Morris, N4TCI, called the meeting to order at 8:05 pm.

The October minutes were approved as presented.

Treasurer, John Chitwood, K3RGB, gave the treasurer's report.  It was
accepted as presented.

Vice-President’s report  - Vice President William Hatfield, W3QX, reported
that 428 paid copies of  the fall issue of Auto Call were sent.  Charles
Thompson, W3CRT, will handle single issues sales at $4 a copy including
shipping.  We still need help to upgrade our Web site,
www.amateurradio-far.org

F.A.R. Fest - The 2006 hamfest will be September 9 and 10 at Gaithersburg.

ARRL report - Tom, W3TOM, gave the ARRL report.

Old Business:  No progress yet on the by-laws rewrite.

-	FAR Nomination committee report -  Mary, N4TCI, reported that no new
people have volunteered to run for office.  The annual election will be at
the December meeting.   The incumbent officers will be up for reelection.

The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.

The location of the next FAR meeting will be at Fire and Emergency Services
building in Landover, Maryland.
