Rick,
I am building a separate list for ARES members in Mailchimp that I will
email separately than the club. There are ARES members that are not
regular attenders or members of FARC so I have separated the ARES list from
the club.
On the yahoo side, as a security professional I hear what you are
saying, there is the option of turning on 2 factor authentication with
yahoo. That is what I do anywhere I can. I also use Lastpass and generate
a unique password for every site. That way if someone does get my password
hash and takes the time to actually brute force reverse the random password
(no dictionary list would have that password) it would not be good for any
other site.
