Curtis: I like what I am seeing. I find things a bit confusing, but that
is just my limited understanding of "things". I got hung up on some of
the videos you included... liked them. It certainly shows what can be done!
I would like to see some articles/info similar to the presentation at our
last club meeting... most specifically how Internet and digital "stuff" can
be used to enhance ham radio. As we have discussed, today's young (and
not so young) people are completely involved with electronics (I-phones, and
other items that I can't remember) that are quite useful with a variety of
ham radio activities. Hope this critique from an old person who is still
looking for the slot to put in the dime in my cell phone, is useful. My
thanks for the work you have done and I think it will provide a very positive
picture for the Frederick Amateur Radio Club and for ham radio in general.
Again thanks. 73 Jim N3HTA

Greetings,

The new web site is essentially ready. The News articles from the 2006 -
2008 era have been omitted from the new site.
Events Calendar is loaded up. Media Library - "The Digital Library" has
been
started. There are a few items, such as membership form, that I'll need to
be "site live" to fix.

All other page content from the old site has been placed on the new site
pages. The old site has not been modified in any way, however both cannot
be
running at the same time. They can be switched on or off as needed.

Here is my proposal. Switch to the new site for a bit, let folks run
through
it. Fix any errors found, and then decide if we leave the new site up, or
go
back to the old site. Until someone wants to admin (what little there is of
it) the site, and I can show them how it is done, I can fill that need
should the leadership desire.

Should there be a need to switch the sites, it literally takes about 1
minute to do.

Until I have the ok of the leadership; I will monitor in standby mode...

Regards,
Curtis - KB3WHX
