[FARC] Volunteer Examiners?

Thanks for all of the responses. I was a VE many years ago, and am considering getting re-certified (it looks like there may be an unmet need). I think that hosting periodic exam sessions could be a great form of outreach, and may be something that can drive prospective hams to the club. Maybe we could eventually offer some classes for interested folks, or hook up with a school or scouting group at some point.

That is correct. Actually almost all of what has been said was correct.
 
The VE team was coordinated by me, KE3FL, and the VEs were all ARRL VEs who came from Frederick, Montgomery, & Carroll counties in MD & also a few VEs from WV as well. Sometimes from Hagerstown too if I remember correctly. I did not care where they came from as long as they were valid VEs.
