[FARC] FARC Constitution and By-Laws Review

The Frederick Amateur Radio Club Constitution and By-Laws Committee has drawn up a new proposed Constitution and By-Laws for the club and we request that all members review this proposed document.

The current  C&BLs date back to the 1970s and are rather outdated and not manageable by current  standards. The new proposed C&BLs are drawn from the ARRL recommendations with modifications for our club operations.

Please review the new proposed C&BLs at the FARC website www.frederickarc.org , and click on the "Official Papers" link in the upper left. Please direct any comments to Jeff Fishman at ljfish1 at comcast.net. We will vote on adopting the new C&BLs at the regular May 21, 2012 club meeting. Passage requires a two-thirds majority vote by the total membership. Absentee voting may be done in writing or by email and must be received by that date. However, in order to be eligible to vote, you must have your 2012 $15.00 dues paid by that date.
