[FARC] A couple of electrical receptacle oddities wanted

I've done quite a bit of searching the web and can't find either of
these things, and thought someone on this list may have a suggestion
or know where to source something like this:

1) I'm looking for a "pass through" type of electrical
outlet/receptacle power failure alarm. The idea is to plug it into my
GFI outlet in the garage which has the chest freezer on it, then plug
the chest freezer into this device. So if the GFI circuit trips, an
audible alarm will tell me the freezer isn't getting power.

2) An outlet/receptacle sized UPS. The goal here is a very light duty
guard against momentary power outages. It's not for keeping power on a
computer for several minutes, but rather for keeping power to a small
device (like a 4 port network switch) when the power flickers during
these spring storms.

For both of these things, I have a form factor in mind that's similar
to a Belkin 6-outlet wall mount surge protector
(http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-SurgeMaster-F9H620-CW-Wall-Mount-Protector/dp/B00006BBAC)
... ie, something that simply plugs into an existing outlet, isn't
very large, and provides receptacles to plug devices into.

Has anyone seen anything like these items?

Thank you!
Brian / KB3TCC
