Joshua,

You might be interested in checking out the Laurel VEC schedule. They give
tests around the area every month for free, and some locations are a lot
closer than Anne Arundel County. Here's a link:

Subject: [FARC] How to move up to General class?

Hey all,
I got my Technician license in February 2008 and would like to
upgrade to the General license. Anne Arundel County offers a test on the
13th that I am planning on attending; I've been studying and can
consistently score 34/35 or 35/35 on practice exams. My question is
this: do I need to have a current CSCE for a Technician class license, or is
my current license sufficient to act as credit, or will they need me to take
two exams, or will they say, "tough luck, kid!"? I'm just a little
confused, and I don't want to drive 2 hours to take an exam, just to find
out that it won't do me any good. Any advice would be great!

Thanks!

PS: I need to take the exam to get my independent study credits out of the
way for Shepherd University; that's why I'm in such a fuss.
