Dick/Jeff,,
3 items:
1] I think that that is the same weekend as the PVRC-Fowl Fest??
2] I have a spare Amplifier you can use - an old SB-200 unmodified 80-10 (110v)
3] I am planning to go mobile/rover and visit all of the 23 counties if conditions and health is OK! I will be operating 80m - 70cm, both SSB & FM, and possibley PSK-31.
I GAVE UP SMOKING ABOUT 20 YR AGO - I DON'T THINK THE AMP SMELLS.. AT LEAST NOT OF SMOKE!
Call me if you want to use the amp..

Great news! We have the OK to operate with Dick from his very impressive shack on top of Braddock Mtn. (see below). Try and set aside some time on the weekend of Aug. 14-15 to make some contacts with the club. Times TBA.

We're on. I'll let you know the exact hours. We can operate 2-3 stations in a multi-multi.
IC-706 on the 80 meter doublet with a tuner 100W
K-3 on the MonstIR 1KW
K-3 tribander at 60' 100W (my broken amp may be back in time)
UHF and VHF FM ( if that counts)
I guess we could put up the 10-20m vertical with a TS-50S on CW
Anybody want to operate AM? I have a restored Ranger still sitting in the shop
Please put out the word that we need operators and lets spread them out a bit so everyone gets a chance to operate. One restriction: NO SMOKERS. I have a really sensitive nose, hi.
73, Dick
