Here's info on an on-the-air forum from Rolan W3FDK. 
 
As you can see, the subject is digital comms modes, scheduled for 
tomorrow (Wednesday, 3/18) at 8:00 PM on the W3ICF repeater. 
 
If you're looking for Elmer-ing or general info on digital, this sounds 
like a good bet. 
 
Rolan doesn't say, but the session will probably be conducted in a net 
format, with check-ins, pauses for questions/comments, etc.  But even if 
you don't check in, and just listen in to the discussion, you're likely 
to pick up a few pointers. 

And Rolan's going to do the "Full Monty", complete with a simultaneous 
digital stream on HF to monitor during the session.

Dear all,
 
This Wednesday, March 18,  at 2000L on the 146.13/73 Frederick rptr we 
will holding an info session on packet radio and hf digi.
 
We will talk  about our Saturday night  2 mtr packet net on 145.75 and 
how  to connect with the packet station on the mountain and then how to 
get into the    TALK  mode,  which is similiar  to   CONVERSE on 
simplex, but it goes throught the TNC up there and each time you hit 
enter you call shows up.
 
The below sites have programs that can be downloaded for the hf digi 
programs we will be talking about and I will have my hf rig set up to tx 
over the  air if anyone wants to connect their hf speaker to their sound 
card input  and try and copy some of these modes.
 
My brother in law in Pa got me interested in these modes as they are 
experimenting with 75 mtrs up there and they copy me 100% with me 
running about 15 watts.
 
The have 1000L nets on Saturdays , ragchew, and then traffic nets on 
Sundays, 1000L on 3.5835.  That info is on the second url below and they 
are looking for more checkins.
 
The hf digi  modes we will discuss will be PSK 31 Olivia 8/500, Olivia 
16/500 and MT 63
