[FARC] July Meeting Reminder

Alternate communication modes should be an interesting discussion. I hope
with the move out of the club shack, the club station can be put in the
Independent Fire Hall somewhere, a logical location.

IF we can get the club station in the fire hall or other central location in
Frederick County, then I suggest we get a computer with Internet and TNC and
set up a Packet/Outpost/APRS station with it. Or maybe we have it already.
I even have a Kantronics KPC-3+ TNC I can donate to the cause. Being in
Independent Fire Hall the station would make a good demonstration for other
club members and be integral to ARES SET testing in October. The full
capabilities of the digital modes for emcomm could be demonstrated.
Actually we know they work, it's just a matter of building the station and
creating the testing scenario.
