[FARC] July Meeting Reminder

Just a quick reminder that the Frederick Amateur Radio Club will hold it's 
July meeting next Mon., July 20, 7PM at Independent Hose. This month we will 
need to discuss the future of the club shack and our storage at the CAP 
building due to the planned demolition of the building for airport 
expansion. More details will be available Monday.

There is no planned program, however due to the increased interest in 
alternate communication modes such as packet, Echolink, Pactor, satellite, 
etc., within the club, I would like to have an open floor discussion on 
people's experience with some of these modes and how we might be able to use 
them to increase our hamming enjoyment.

UPCOMING P.S. EVENT - Frederick ARES has been asked to provide 
communications support for a mini triathlon in the Spring Ridge area on the 
morning of Sun., Aug.30. Approx. 6-12 ops needed. ARES membership not needed 
to participate. Details to follow.
