[FARC] Hams Helping Hams

Fellow hams: A while ago, I posted to the reflectors that I had some
General Class study books available, free to a good home. The response I
received was great - unexpectedly so. I'm making arrangements to get the
books to KB3ICU, who was the first responder.

The flood of interest got me thinking: maybe it would be in our own best
interests to have a "lending library" of books available to local hams.
Now that I've got my General ticket, I certainly don't need these books.
I've made KB3ICU promise to return these two books to "circulation" when
he's finished using them. Maybe our clubs could purchase a few more
copies (they're good until June 30, 2011) and loan them out on an
as-needed basis. Maybe we could also have some other books available on
different topics, like antennas, APRS, working satellites, and the like.

Any ideas? Comments? Criticism?
