[FARC] Hamsticks - opinions please

I'm going to try and make a last ditch effort to get on 75 meters from
my town house. So far just about everything I have tried has not
worked well enough for traffic handling, and often, not even well
enough to even check into the MEPN on 3820 kHz. Next and last on the
list is to build a hamstick dipole to be mounted horizontally on the
chimney. Has anyone tried this for 75 meters? Of course, it will be
a short antenna, just 14 feet end to end, which will be the most
limiting factor, and the bandwidth of a 75 meter hamstick looks to be
about 10 kHz, but that is fine, I'll just have to stay on or near 3820
kHz, which is mostly what I'm interested in anyway. There seem to be
a few brands of hamstick style antennas - does anyone know if one is
better than the other? The first google result returns the Lakeview
company - http://www.hamstick.com/9106.htm Is there a better choice?

I'd prefer to buy the best hamstick available at the Frederick Amateur
Radio Club hamfest in June - I wonder if there will be any vendors
selling them?
