You might also consider the Icom IC-2200H. There's a manufacturer's
coupon readily available which brings the street price down to about
$139. One advantage of this radio is that you could later upgrade it
with a UT-118 module to make it compatible with the D-STAR digital
repeaters that are starting to pop up here and there. It also receives
the aircraft band.
