Kirk and all New Hams,
By all means keep a record of your contacts. Keep a log in one way or
another. If you do not, you will find that you will have worked hundreds of
stations, some very rare, and not have any record. I know several hams who
have not kept a log and have greats regrets about it. ARRL sells the ol
fashioned logs. I think I paid $7 each for those I last ordered. Of
course, there are computer programs for recording contacts. Some programss
can be assessed with a punch of a key and you can recall who you worked and
when. That is why I find half of the guys I work come back to my call and
call me by name. Do keep some kind of a log of your contacts. It's not like
working mobile on 2 meters!
