You may have already seen the obituary in the Frederick News-Post, 
documenting the passing of one of our local Hams and FARC members, Mr. 
Robert (Bob) White K3ICT, last Friday.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bob last year, at his home in Smithsburg, 
delivering the 4th prize HT he won at our 2006 Hamfest.  We met again at 
our 2007 Hamfest, where he volunteered at the flea market gate.  In 
these brief encounters, it was clear that Bob was a dedicated, energetic 
and accomplished Ham, and after reading a short summary of his life in 
the paper, it is clear that Bob put energy and dedication into every 
aspect of his life. 

I know that all who knew Bob will miss him.
