[FARC] New Meeting Place for FARC

All,

As of today, the Frederick Amateur Radio Club will begin holding monthly 
meetings at the Independent Hose Company (IHC) fire station, located at 
310 Baughmans Lane in Frederick. 

As many of you already know, this new venue is very close to our 
previous meeting place at the Frederick County Animal Control Facility, 
just off of Rosemont Ave. on Baughmans Lane. 

The meeting day (3rd Monday of each month) and time (7:00 PM) have not 
changed.

Additional details (how to get to the meeting room, where to park, etc.) 
will be posted here and on the FARC web site in the near future.

Please help to pass the word to anyone you know who may not see this 
note, but is interested in attending our meetings.  We'll also post 
signs on the Animal Control front doors on meeting nights for the next 
few months, in case anyone heads over there in autopilot mode and needs 
a reminder.  (Thankfully, again, the two places are pretty much within 
walking distance of one another!)

Thanks go to Bill KA3HJC and Jim N3HTA for coordinating this graceful 
exit from the Animal Shelter.  I'm sure the overflow kitties appreciated 
our company once a month and really didn't mind sharing their space, but 
this move over to IHC should be good for all concerned.
