[FARC] HT batteries

Greetings,

If any of you have an HT that runs on 6 or 12 volts, check this out. At =
Kmart in Fred. they are selling 6V Nimh Nokia or Erickson cell phone =
battery packs on clearance for $2.00 EACH! These make great backup =
battery packs. You can connect two in series and charge them with your =
HT charger and plug them into your radio. Nice and slim to fit into your =
pocket. I have been using this system for over a year with great =
results. As of this afternoon there were approx. 6 left in a clearance =
bin next to the auto dept. Call me if you need more details.
