[FARC] Club UHF Repeater

FYI.

 

The club 448.425 K3ERM Repeater is OFF-THE-AIR until further notice.
Two problems were found today when the system was checked out.  One a
bad muffin fan in the 60-amper 12VDC power supply that was quickly
repaired and restored by Jim, KA3LPC in Walkersville.  The second a
completely 'fried' UHF RF amplifier board.  This component is toast
possibly from a lightning strike.  Further work is necessary to
determine if additional problems exist.  

 

Scott, N3MVV, club trustee is advised and working on the situation.
