[FARC] Wednesday Night Meeting

Hello to all. Wanted to remind/advise everyone that we have what should be
an interesting program set up for the meeting this coming Wednesday (21st)
at 7:00 pm (1900 EDT or 2300Z) at the CAP facilities near the Frederick
airport.  Any of you who have not attended since we changed our location
and need directions, please contact the list, me, Carolyn, Ken, or Jim for
directions and guidance on getting there if you do not know the route
already.

We will be joined by Charlie Miller, N3NGZ, who has a nice program put
together on the entitled the "Evolution of Electronics".

We'll try to push through the routine club business (those with reports -
please be prepared and be brief and concise), then have the program and
then after the program we'll spend time with those of you who are helping
with the hamfest in trying to finalize much of that since this will be our
last formal meeting before the hamfest.

ALSO, there will be no formal CLUB meeting on the Wednesday following the
hamfest (no JUNE CLUB MEETING).  We WILL have that evening and the
facilities available for the Field Day Committee and FD participating
volunteers to get together and finalize our FD operating arrangements.

FARC will be putting stations on the air for Field Day this year, the first
time in quite a while, since FD is TWO weeks after our hamfest this year. I
hope that many of you will decide to participate for a least a portion of
the event.
