[FARC] HAMFEST Gate Workers

ALL: I am currently constructing the schedule for people to work the gates 
for the upcoming hamfest on Father's Day (June 15).  We open the gates at 
6AM.  If you can assist for an hour (or more), please respond to this email.  
I'd prefer to schedule for 1 hour increments, but if you can work for only 
1/2 hour please do so.  Respond back to me as quickly as you can with the 
times you desire to work the gates.  I'll attempt to meet your time needs as 
possible.  The more time I have to workout the schedule, the more likely I 
can utilize each person's desire.  If anyone so desires, call me at home.  
Sometimes it is easier to talk directly to make the work schedule suit your 
needs as much as possible. It may be a few days until I can return calls due 
to my job keeping me out of town a lot; but I will return you call. 

If I don't get enough volunteers through this email effort, I'll have to 
start phone calling to recruit.  It is imperative for good hamfest that we 
have sufficient persons on the gates to quickly pass the attendees with a 
minimum of delay.  And the more people we have willing to work the gate, the 
less time each person needs to be there.

Please respond and volunteer for an hour or two, or three ....  I will 
appreciate the early responses.

I also ask that between now and the hamfest, everyone do their very best 
anti-rain dance for June 15.  Perhaps the rain we have gotten the last many 
days here in Frederick will make up for any we don't get on Father's Day.  
We'll have a great hamfest even if it does "sprinkle" a little!!!!
