Thanks for the kind words on the web site, Doc.

I'd be happy to add the PA QRP (or is it more properly "qrp") club to
the list of links on the ARC site. As you suggest, there just aren't
that many QRP clubs around this area.

I don't know of a "QRP Club" as such down this way, although there are a
good number of individual Hams around here who have gotten the QRP bug
since the advent of the Yaesu Ft-817 and the new Elecraft kit rigs. A
bunch of others have been QRP fans all along, some almost forever...

One upcoming event you should know about, if you haven't already heard,
is the QRP get-together on Saturday, October 26th, at the Washington
Monument State Park near South Mountain in MD. It is billed as "The
First Annual MADXRA QRP DXPEDITION", but I believe anyone/everyone who
is interested in QRP and remote ops is invited to stop by, not just
MADXRA folks. Who knows, it just could be the start of a MD or MD/PA
QRP club. Festivities start at 8:45 AM at Shelter #2 in the park. If
you'd like more details, I'll be happy to provide them.

The old web site was one dimensional .We should project more than the hamfest on the web site or people will think that's all we care about. You need something Qrp on there though hi hi. The club I belong to in Pa. is the eastern pa. qrp club http://www.n3epa.org/ I would have joined a Qrp club in Maryland but there isn't one. ----73's and again great job Doc ka3kzh
